About the Platform

The Myanmar Earthquake Disaster Mapping Platform is a community-driven initiative created in response to the recent earthquake affecting multiple regions in Myanmar.

Our goal is to provide a centralized platform for documenting earthquake damage, coordinating recovery efforts, and helping affected communities access timely information about the disaster's impact.

This platform is open source and maintained by volunteers from the Myanmar tech community, with contributions welcome from everyone.

Data Access and Usage

All data collected on this platform is made available under open data principles to aid in disaster response and recovery.

Data License

The collected data is available under the Open Database License (ODbL). You are free to share, create, and adapt the data as long as you attribute the source, share any adaptations under the same license, and keep it open.
